Erica Starr, Interim CEO

 Erica Starr attended Liberty University and earned her degrees in Strategic Intelligence and International Relations.  Her academic and early career focus was on Government and Homeland Security, Counter-terrorism, Intelligence Analysis, Deception Detection and Counter Intelligence operations.  

She is a member of Phi Sigma Alpha and the Strategic Intelligence Society.

    Erica later moved into the business realm where she founded her own Branding and Marketing agency. In that role she branded and marketed many businesses that went on to become very successful. Through this agency she was approached by David Sattler, former CEO and Founder of Marstecs. David offered Erica a position as Chief Marketing Executive and she accepted. Together, they laid the foundation for Marstecs as it is today, positioning Marstecs to be the world's leading Green Hydrogen Technology company. 

      With David Sattler stepping more into the role of Energy Engineer and Innovator, he asked Erica to take the Interim lead of Marstecs, and she gladly accepted. 

David Sattler earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 from the University of Cincinnati. In 1986 he received his MSME from Texas A&M University and his BSME from University of Cincinnati. He specialized in Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer as well as practical applications. These applications included: Energy Systems and Design and Management including Power Generation.

     His vast work experience began in 1981 as a Junior Engineer at the coal fired Beckjord Power Plant. He stayed at Beckjord Power Plant till 1985 during his undergraduate studies. From 1987 to 1993 he worked internationally as a BMS project manager, systems engineer, project manager and engineer, often writing code for Staefa Control Systems.

 From 1995 to 1997 he worked at a prominent consulting company designing electrical, plumbing, fire, and HVAC systems including project management.  Further, he also started the energy team in this consulting group.

     In 1997 he started Sattler Consulting. There he worked as a consultant (as the owner) doing BMS, HVAC, Energy, and Procurement for various large clients’ portfolios. Sattler Consulting was very successful. 

     Recently, from 2017 to present, David has consulted developing, designing, implementing, and project managing over 415 Energy Conservation client projects of $137M in the last 8 years and $60M of Energy conservation projects in the last 3 years.  David has a team that can implement all the technologies he recommends. 

In addition to energy engineering, David has accomplished much in the energy space. Some of his additional accomplishments are:

1) He repeated Nicola Tesla’s design of pulling Energy out of the Earth.

2) He developed the world’s most efficient air conditioner, 10+ times more efficient than on the current market. He received Australian government funding for further development. 

3) He assisted in the development of thermal-chemical Hydrogen extraction process. The latest testing showed the byproduct can be modified and used as raw feed, therefore, it can be a closed loop Hydrogen Production at $1.00/kg.

 4) He designed a Vortex Solar Wind Tower which is 20 times more efficient than present designs and uses no solar panels or thermal conversion technologies. Making it simple and cost effective.
